Average Pressure Can Hide Instability

A simplified displayed value may appear near:

1500 bar

Yet actual rail pressure is repeatedly changing.

The numbers here are illustrative only; required pressure depends on the system.

Why Pressure Quality Matters

Rapid oscillation can influence the consistency of injection events.

Possible contributors may include:

  • uneven pump delivery;
  • pressure-control instability;
  • inlet metering instability;
